DDF Factory Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Double Balance Wheel Openworked 15416CE – Full Black Ceramic | Integrated Skeleton Super Clone 3132 Movement

The latest DDF Factory Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Double Balance Wheel Openworked 15416CE is a premium full-ceramic super clone that combines the iconic Royal Oak architecture with an intricate openworked dial and a newly developed integrated skeleton Super Clone 3132 movement.

DDF has focused heavily on the two areas that define this model: the difficult full black ceramic case and bracelet construction and the highly visible skeletonized movement. With almost every mechanical component exposed through the dial, movement architecture and finishing are especially important on the 15416CE.

Genuine Black Ceramic Case & Bracelet

One of the most important features of this DDF edition is the use of a true ceramic manufacturing process for the exterior components.

The case retains the unmistakable Royal Oak octagonal architecture, including its sharply defined bezel, exposed hexagonal screws and integrated transition from the case into the bracelet.

Black ceramic provides excellent resistance to scratches and everyday wear while maintaining a lighter feel than many conventional metal constructions.

Producing the Royal Oak case in ceramic is particularly demanding because the design relies heavily on precise edges and contrasting surface finishes. DDF carefully applies satin brushing and polishing across the bezel, case and individual bracelet links to reproduce the complex visual character of the original design.

Integrated Full Ceramic Bracelet

The black ceramic bracelet continues seamlessly from the case, preserving one of the most recognizable characteristics of the Royal Oak.

Each link is individually shaped and finished, with carefully defined brushed surfaces and polished bevels. The articulation of the bracelet is designed to provide a smooth fit around the wrist while maintaining the sharp geometric appearance of the Royal Oak.

The result is an almost completely monochromatic black exterior that places even greater visual emphasis on the skeleton movement.

Integrated Skeleton Super Clone 3132 Movement

The centerpiece of the DDF 15416CE is its newly developed integrated skeleton Super Clone Cal. 3132 automatic movement.

Rather than simply placing decorative skeleton components over a conventional movement, this version uses an integrated openworked architecture designed specifically to reproduce the mechanical appearance of the 15416.

This is especially important because the Royal Oak Double Balance Wheel Openworked has virtually no conventional dial to conceal the movement underneath.

Bridges, gears, balance components and the automatic winding architecture all become part of the visual design of the watch.

Double Balance Wheel Openworked Architecture

The 15416CE is defined by its highly distinctive Double Balance Wheel Openworked construction.

The DDF Super Clone 3132 is designed to reproduce this complex visual architecture, including the prominent balance assembly visible from the dial side.

The openworked construction creates exceptional depth, allowing different layers of the movement to be seen directly through the front of the watch.

As the viewing angle changes, the wearer can observe the interaction between the bridges, wheels and moving mechanical components rather than looking at a traditional solid dial.

Fully Skeletonized Dial

There is no conventional dial in the traditional sense. Instead, the movement itself forms the visual foundation of the watch.

Applied hour markers and hands sit above the openworked mechanism, allowing the mechanical architecture underneath to remain clearly visible.

The combination of the black ceramic exterior and exposed metallic movement components creates the dramatic contrast that makes the 15416CE one of the most recognizable skeletonized Royal Oak designs.

Sapphire Front & Exhibition Caseback

A sapphire crystal protects the openworked movement from the front while providing maximum visibility of the mechanical construction.

The rear of the watch also uses a sapphire exhibition caseback, allowing the Super Clone 3132 movement to be viewed from both sides.

This front-and-back presentation is particularly important on an openworked watch, where movement finishing is an essential part of the overall design rather than simply an internal technical feature.

Royal Oak Ceramic Finishing

DDF has paid particular attention to the characteristic Royal Oak finishing.

The octagonal bezel, angular case surfaces and integrated bracelet combine straight satin brushing with carefully polished edges and bevels. Under changing light, these contrasting surfaces reveal the complex geometry of the case even though the entire exterior remains predominantly black.

This finishing helps prevent the ceramic construction from appearing flat and gives the watch the sharp, architectural character associated with the Royal Oak.
