New Release RICHARD MILLE introduces the RM 38-02 Tourbillon Bubba Watson in Pink Theme: Inspired by Golf
The striking new creation, the 'RM 38-02 Tourbillon Bubba Watson' tourbillon watch, is a collaboration with professional golfer Bubba Watson. Its unique pink color is inspired by the PING No. 1 golf club favored by this golfing icon, giving it a particularly vibrant style that brings joy to the heart.
The bezel and caseback of the new watch are crafted from pink and white quartz carbon composite materials, while the middle case is made of carbon fiber and pink quartz carbon fiber, each with a unique interlocking pattern. The tonneau-shaped case fits snugly and comfortably on the wrist, with the crown cleverly mimicking the dimples of a golf ball, adding an amusing detail.
The fully openworked dial allows the wearer to clearly appreciate the complete operation of the movement, with the skeletonized bridges forming a lateral "V" shape on the dial, and the pink hand-painted motif inspired by the club head used by Bubba Watson. The tourbillon structure at 6 o'clock can withstand forces of up to 10,000 g, ensuring stable operation even during high-speed swings by professional golfers.
Powered by the RM 38-02 manual winding movement, oscillating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, it provides a power reserve of 52 hours. The movement features a hollowed-out carbon fiber baseplate for excellent shock resistance. The bridges are still made of robust grade 5 titanium, with pink elements decorating the backside perforations.
